5 Ways to Promote your Social Media Profiles

You’ve finally embarked into the world of social media and have profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter. Now what? You’ve got to get the word out! How do you promote your use of social media? Follow these five tips and you will be well on your way to an enormous network of friends, family, and business associates.

  1. Put it in your email signature
  2. Blog about it
  3. Use your profile to promote your other profiles.
  4. Use a service like Retaggr, which allows you to create a web based profile card with a link to all of your social profiles.
  5. Use it in conversation

Remember, in social media, you get what you put into it! The more you build and nurture your network, the more benefits you will be able to reap from them.
