Sexual Assault Response Services
of Southern Maine

Tuesday, October 28, 2008 we had the honor of attending the annual banquet for Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine (SARSSM) at the Comedy Connection in Portland. The event was attended by over 50 people.

The event was a time to recognize SARSSM’s achievements and to spotlight a few volunteers and major accomplishments. Hall Web Services was presented with the community service award - for charitable contributions to Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine.

For over three year’s we’ve donated a range of web services to SARSSM, helping strengthen their ability to offer web based information to victims and survivors of sexual assault and bringing them help, hope and healing.

Hall Web Services hosts the websites for SARSSM and the famous Chocolate Lovers Fling. This year we also set them up with an online shopping cart and added user conversion aspects to their site.

All design, maintenance and hosting for both sites is done pro-bono as part of our corporate giving policy.

Over the past year we have been fortunate to work with such a great cause and great people supporting the cause. The staff at SARSSM has been so fun to work with that maintaining their site hasn’t even seemed like work.

If you want to get involved with SARSSM check out their website or participate in their 4th Annual Online Auction starting starting Monday, November 17th.
