		<description>It seems to me that too many sales and marketing folks are still locked in the old style of lead generation.  Back in the &quot;olden days&quot; the only metrics they had were how many cards did I collect and how many letters did I mail out.  Efficiency was not an issue, cost per contact was not an issue.  Today, we need to know that we have the very best contacts possible.  Businesses do not have time or money to send out 4,000 letters and hope to get 5 responses.  Now we must segment our lists and contact those we believe are the most qualified candidates.  The people that still scan every ID badge are not long for their industry.</description>
