Secure, Business-Class Hosting For Your Site
You can't afford an inferior hosting environment. Don't spend thousands of dollars on your website only to go bargain shopping for the least expensive hosting solution.
Hosting services are often advertised as one and the same. But $7.95/month hosting with Cpanel is very different from business-grade, search-friendly hosting.
We offer three specific things about our hosting environment that are critical to you business' success:
- Reliability - Downtime is not an option. Your site needs to be available every second of every day. We partner with Rackspace in San Antonio, Texas, one of the world's most highly regarded web hosting companies.
- 24/7 Support - We will answer your phone call in the dead of night. We will respond to your emails within twenty minutes. We will work as late as we need to to resolve your issue, should there be one.
- Flexibility - We have both Windows and Linux servers, ASP/SQL Server and PHP/MySQL coding environments available. Our software as a service products are designed to be easily deployable within our hosting environment. We use server-side functions which you'll never see, but will help your site perform better.
The Most Secure System is a Managed Dedicated Hosting System
When your website is down, you're losing money. When it takes too long to load, it's losing money. If your email problems because your IP has been associated with a spam site, you're losing money. We take the integrity of our hosting environment extremely seriously so you never lose business due to a technical problem.
- Highly Secure - We build our server to meet eCommerce-grade security standards. Only Hall staff has access to our servers, and only our clients are hosted on our servers. This means better protection from hackers, phishers and spammers.
- Aggressively Managed - Our partnership with Rackspace, known for their "fanatical support," is a combination that means the server your site is hosted on gets 24/7 attention. Should anything ever happen, none of us will sleep until it's fixed.
- Extreme Performance - We run our appliances to 30% capacity only to ensure that load times are fast and reliable.
Easier on You
Another advantage of managed hosting is that you, as the site owner, don't need to worry about a myriad of technical chores related to owning a website - managing email accounts, setting up/backing up databases, upgrading software or tracking disk space/bandwidth usage.
- Complete, Easy-on-you Management - Drop us an email or call when you want a new email address, an autoresponder, a new subdomain, a new piece of software, whatever. We'll have your change made typically within an hour.
- Managed Updates - We'll keep blogging software or other programs installed on your site up to date without you noticing. The same is true of all Software as a Service products we manage for you.
- Unmetered Bandwidth and Space - Your website needs to have the resources your customers are looking for and be up when they're looking for it, that's it. You never have to be worried about running out of space or bandwidth when your site is hosted with Hall.
WE ARE NOT A RESELLER!
Did you know that most web hosting resellers have no idea what other sites are sharing their IP addresses? Your company could be sharing an IP address with a spamming or phishing site, an adult site or a blog that delivers questionable content.
Since only our customers are hosted on our servers, our system is more reliable and fully customizable.
Comparing Web Hosting Companies?
Ask a few questions:
- Are you a reseller?
Price should be your guide, no company can offer business-suitable web hosting at $7 per month. A budget hosting shared environment is great for personal or very simple website, but a risky choice for your business. - Do you own your own hardware?
Again, let price guide you. Knowing who ownes and managers the server where your site hosted is important. This is your business and you should know the company you keep. - Do you own your DataCenter? If so, does it meet all the requirements of a World Class DC, including distance from the nearest building (important for fire risk assessment)?
Too many data centers are located in commercial districts adjacent to restaurants and government offices - potential sources of fire and homeland security shutdowns. - How many sites will be on the same server as mine?
Load is important to assessing performance and reliability. A reseller cannot answer this question, as they have no way to determine who, how many or what type of content is hosted on the server they share. - Do you allow unmanaged third party access to your servers? (Resellers or shared hosts offering control panel management cannot control this!)
Any person with a credit card can share a server with you. This is very scary as evil-doers will begin launching malicous sites and serving phishing links from the temporary site pages before the credit card is processed.
Shared hosting is fine for a non-commercial website, but businesses require reliability, security, immediate support and protected IP addresses.
