With a desire to understand why, Mike has always strived to learn the unknown for himself instead of taking what everyone tells you for granted. An answer to a question is only useful if you know the reasoning behind the answer. This is where the true knowledge comes from. This thought process brought Mike to the Rochester Institute of Technology after an upbringing in Maine to study Computers. Computers were the future, and he needed to learn about them for himself. After graduation, Mike joined the growing Hall Internet Marketing team as a developer/programmer making websites and web applications for clients. Hall has always been successful in making websites for our clients, and he needed to know why. It was simply not enough to know if the client was happy or not; Mike needed to know what worked and why it worked. With Analytics and other internal and third party tools, Mike was able to take his technical background and mesh it with his desire to know the how and why of the internet. As Analytics Manager, Mike now works closely with both the Development and Marketing teams to make sure Hall always knows the why and how, and not just yes or no.
