Portland, Maine – Hall Internet Marketing and the Casco Bay Technology Hub will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on February 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Casco Bay Tech Hub’s Business Innovation Center located at 30 Danforth St., Suite 206.
While Hall has participated in the American Red Cross’ Donor Days for the past four years, this will be the first time that Hall and the Casco Bay Tech Hub will cohost a donor event at the Tech Hub’s Old Port location. “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with the American Red Cross and Casco Bay Tech Hub for this drive,” said Jonas Levasseur, Vice President of Operations. “This is the first year we will be hosting the drive and we hope it will be the first of many.”
Hosting the blood drive is one of many ways that Hall gives back to its community. In the last year, Hall also participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and the American Heart Association’s Southern Maine Heart Walk and volunteered time and funding to support the Casco Bay Tech Hub.
The American Red Cross is the nation’s largest blood collection organization, supplying approximately 40 percent of the blood and blood products used in the United States. Eligible donors can sign up for a time slot on the American Red Cross’ website.
