Portland, Maine – Hall Internet Marketing sponsored four team members who participated in the 2015 Trail to Ale 10K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 20. The race benefited Portland Trails, a nonprofit at creates and maintains a network of trails in the Greater Portland area. Vice President of Operations Jonas Levasseur, SEO Analyst Mary Soule, Client Support Tech Geoff Bell and Junior WordPress Developer Eli Dolloff all completed the course, which followed Portland’s waterfront trail network.
The company, a five time Best Places to Work in Maine award recipient, recently reassessed their corporate wellness and giving policies. “As an employee owned company we got together and decided that we wanted to make more of an effort to encourage each other’s interests, both in and out of the office,” said Bell. “Team members have come to company meetings with proposals ranging from ski races to fundraisers and received the company’s full backing.”
This effort invites coworkers to share their passions and hobbies with other members of the staff. “As a programmer, exercise is not inherent in my day to day, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to me,” said Dolloff. “It’s great to work with people who share this belief, and for a company that supports us in pursuing it.”
