Scarborough, Maine – ‘Tis the season of giving and with that in mind, Hall recently held two charity drives to benefit local families in need.
In November, the company collected food and personal care items for the Project FEED food pantry in Portland, Maine. Project FEED (Food Emergency Exchange Depot) distributes food and household supplies to families and individuals in crisis in Cumberland County.
Hall was glad to be able to provide donations to the food pantry for the second year in a row.
“Food insecurity in Maine is a real problem—more people go hungry here than in any other state in New England. We need to think about our neighbors all year, and especially during the holidays,” said Digital Marketer, Kerry Corcoran.
Following the food drive, Hall team members joined forces to collect toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Program. A favorite charity of Hall’s staff, 2019 marks the company’s 7th year in a row donating to the program.
“I’m always happy to help out the people at Toys for Tots. When I was young, my family needed help during the holidays, and I want to make sure every child has fond Christmas memories as I do,” said Digital Marketing Assistant, Joe Austin.
Hall is proud to support organizations that help members of the local community and is looking forward to giving back even more in 2020.

Project FEED (Food Emergency Exchange Depot) is an emergency food pantry located in Portland, Maine in the basement of Woodfords Congregational UCC Church. Project FEED, a non-profit, was founded in 1975 by a group of clergy and lay-people concerned with the growing number of Portland residents who were without a reliable source of food in emergencies.
