PORTLAND, Maine (3/16/2017) – Tim Howe, Lead WordPress Developer at Hall Internet Marketing, is a selected speaker for the Greater Portland Maine WordPress Meetup next week. Howe’s presentation, “SSL All the Things!” will take place Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Automattic East, located in the Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, ME. This event is free and open to the public.
Howe will speak about the importance of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), web security and the importance of obtaining an SSL certificate. SSL security is a pertinent topic to maintaining safe websites for individuals and businesses. “As we’ve seen in the news, network and online security is becoming a hot-button issue,” said Howe. “SSL certification and secure online browsing are important aspects of helping people keep their data secure.”
As Lead WordPress Developer, Howe participates in all stages of web development at Hall. He has contributed to the creation of responsive frameworks, WordPress integrations, and custom reporting tools during his time at Hall.
