Portland, Maine – The Maine Technology Institute (MTI), a private, nonprofit organization investing in promising technologies across Maine, awarded Hall Web Services, a Maine-based web design and internet marking firm, a seed grant that supports early-stage research and development activities.
MTI invests in promising technologies by funding research and development projects in Maine’s seven technology sectors: forestry and agriculture, aquaculture and marine, biotechnology, composite materials, environmental, information, and precision manufacturing. MTI’s goal is to bring new products, services, and processes to the market, generating high-quality jobs across Maine.
Receiving a MTI Seed Grant will help us expand development of our Internet Marketing Tools,” said Tom Hall, President of Hall Web Services. “These Tools are important to the future of our company and to our goal of adding more jobs here in Portland – well paying, benefited jobs that will stay in Maine for the foreseeable future. This grant is a validation of what we have created and the direction we are heading.”
