Portland, Maine – Hall Internet Marketing is excited to once again be participating in WordCamp Maine. The event will take place May 26-27 at Maine College of Art (MECA) in Portland and is a gathering of web developers, designers, and business owners interested in the open source content management system WordPress.
WordCamp Maine is a weekend of events designed for anyone from bloggers and business owners to advanced web developers looking to expand their knowledge of WordPress and its community in Maine and beyond. Hall will be hosting a speaker and sponsor dinner at their Old Port office on May 26 to close out the first day of the event.
The team at Hall Internet Marketing considers WordCamp Maine a family affair as various Hall members have volunteered to organize, speak, and more. Gary Thayer, WordPress Developer at Hall, is coordinating the event as Lead Organizer this year, volunteering his time along with other community organizers to coordinate the event.
WordCamps include talks by local and national speakers on a range of subjects from web design to digital marketing and entrepreneurship, networking, and more technical topics. Volunteers from the community, including several Hall employees, will be on hand during the weekend’s events to assist attendees, answer questions, and support Maine’s WordPress and open source community.
