Hall Organizes Charity Drives to Support Local Community

Portland, Maine – Over the past three months, Hall has organized and held three charity drives to support various organizations in the local community.

In October, employees collected pet food, toys, and supplies which were donated to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Hall has a staff full of animal lovers who were excited to donate to a foundation that focuses on providing care, food, and shelter to animals up for adoption.

With Thanksgiving in mind, Hall gathered and distributed nonperishable food items and personal care products to the Project FEED food pantry in November. Over 100 donations were put into boxes and brought to the pantry the day before Thanksgiving.

“It was wonderful seeing more and more food donations come in each day,” said Administrative Assistant, Anna Pillsbury. “We were glad we could give to families in need, especially this time of year when money can be especially tight.”

December marked Hall’s 6th straight year providing children’s toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Program. Collections began on #GivingTuesday and ran through December 7th.

“It’s been rewarding to continue giving to the Toys for Tots program. It’s such a simple and impactful way to make a difference during the holiday season,” said Client Services Coordinator, Olivia Brown.

Hall is proud to be able to give back to local charities and is excited to continue supporting organizations that improve the lives of community members throughout 2019.
