Portland, Maine – Hall Internet Marketing – a Maine internet marketing firm – is excited to announce two different Social Media Breakfast Maine (SMBME) events for the month of October. In addition to the traditional monthly event in Portland on October 28, there will be a special SMBME event at the Momentum Convention held in Augusta on October 20.
The Mainebiz Momentum Convention is an all day event where Maine’s business professional community can gather with peers to help build momentum for their businesses. There will be a special SMBME event at the convention on the morning of October 20, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. sponsored by GWI of Maine. Speakers for this SMBME event will include Rich Brooks from Flyte New Media and Tobin Slaven from Mobile Marketing of Maine. The Momentum Convention is held annually at the Augusta Civic Center.
This month’s Social Media Breakfast Maine in Portland is entitled Creating Community and Measuring Success. Derek Rice, a freelance writer and PR, marketing, and social media professional will be the social media expert speaker for the event. There will also be two case studies featuring Ry Russell who ran the Saco Drive-In this past summer and Calvin Gilbert who manages marketing and promotions at Goodwill of Northern New England. This event will be held on Friday October 28, from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the Eastland Park Hotel in downtown Portland.
