Corporate History
Hall Marketing started as some words scratched on a napkin at a breakfast meeting. Tom Hall was ten years out of college and battling hard as a cubicle warrior in corporate America. He met with a CPA/MBA buddy for some advice and Hall Marketing was born the very next day. Starting life as a DBA, Hall quickly incorporated as Local 207 Inc. just 6 months later.
With a creative approach to management and a desire to avoid the trappings of corporate 9 to 5, the company was designed to encourage employees to grow, participate, learn and have a little fun. Employees enjoy freedom, a stake in the company, and a fast paced customer-oriented work environment.
Everything about the company has a customer focus with a emphasis on being available and responsive. As the company has expanded services and staff over the years, the customer centric mission has remained the same.
Hall is now in its third primary office since 2000. One of Maine's largest development firms, Hall was recently awarded the prestigious Preferred Vendor Status by Sage Software, as one of 6 web firms approved to provide web and internet marketing services to their Select Partner Network.
We are now doing business as Hall Web Services, though those who know us just call us "Hall." As we enter our We are expanding our staff and services as we continue to grow.

2000
- Hall Incorporates as Local 207 Inc. DBA Hall Marketing.
- Begins to work with Best (later Sage) software partners.
2001
- 75 URLs under management
- Begins to target national market as a referral only provider.
2002
- Opens Hawaii Office.
- HM Solo Version 1 is launched.
- 100 URLs under management
2003
- Opens California Office
- HM Solo 2.0 is born.
- Maine office moves to larger space.
- Complete largest development project ever - over $200k.
2004
- HM FTP is created
- HM Shop modules are launched.
2005
- HM Solo 3.0 is launched.
- Over 40% of gross sales provided through reseller partners.
- Referral Only!
- Opens Nevada Office.
2006
- Signs $50k deal for hosting collocation with Rackspace - the nations leading collocation provider.
- Over 200 URLs under management.
- Awarded Sage MAP's Designation.
2007
- Changes name to Hall Web Service and changes logo - now just called Hall, by those who know us.
- Awarded Sage Software's Preferred Vendor Status
- November 2007 Customer Survey showed 98% of responding customers are extremely likely to refer Hall to a friend or colleague.
- Funds the start up of Global Soudings, LLC a software company that creates innovative web based Search Marketing Tools.
- Signs 5 year, $105,000 agreement to partner with Rackspace of San Antonio, TX to deliver an industry leading world class hosting environment to customers through 2012.
2008
- Hall expands into full audio and video production and marketing services.
