Calyx Flowers

Calyx Flowers delivers fresh-cut bouquets and plants directly from the world’s premier growers. The Hall web development team migrated Calyx to our proprietary order management system CrossPeak, which provided the company with better internal management and reporting capabilities. In addition, we developed a delivery date field within the WooCommerce cart in order to allow a per product delivery date to be set on orders. This piece of custom development helps calculate shipping costs and availability dates based on drop shippers’ cutoff times. Other cart customization initiatives included building an address book for user accounts and adding product meta fields to assist with catalog and site management. Our designers and web developers worked collaboratively to test and improve the site’s conversion process and make data-driven design decisions for the cart, checkout, product pages, and site navigation.
